Any exercises or other ideas for back pain?

I was involved in a car accident about two years ago. Since then I’ve had terrible back pain on and off. Some days I don’t want to get out of bed. Over the counter pain relievers don’t do much for it. I can’t afford professional help. Any ideas for exercises or other tips to relieve some of this pain? I’m in my late 20s with bad knees.

What exercises should I be doing for lower back pain?

I’ve got REALLY severe lower back pain, can barely move. Taking a concoction of strong pain killers plus diazepam to reduce the muscle spasm, but although it’s helping a bit it’s still very painful. Anyone know what kind of physiotherapy type exercises are recommended for lower back pain?
